The place went crazy with the opening number and then all the way through the show.</p>
don't panic!<p>The guy wanted to sit with his friends &amp; asked to swap tickets with me. I said sure, swapped tickets, walked away &amp; noticed he had given me a seat way down front. I was psyched! I went to the seat &amp; was blown away experiencing the 2nd set from so close. I was truly in range to get spit on by Bob, but was instead showered by the musical sparks flowing off the stage. I listened to that set last night &amp; while it has some rough spots, there are some tasty jams. 2/2</p><p><a href="https://heads.social/tags/GratefulDead" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GratefulDead</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/IWasThere" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>IWasThere</span></a></p>
don't panic!<p>This was the only show I saw on this 3-night benefit run, it was always a treat to see the boys in such an intimate venue (capacity ~2,000). I had a single ticket, not the best seat in the house, so spent the first set dancing with friends. At intermission, I went to my seat for the first time to take a breather &amp; get a little tuned up. There was a guy in my seat socializing with the people around him. 1/2 </p><p><a href="https://heads.social/tags/GratefulDead" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GratefulDead</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/IWasThere" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>IWasThere</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/@fogelnet/112179169950092365" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">heads.social/@fogelnet/1121791</span><span class="invisible">69950092365</span></a></p>
don't panic!<p>I saw Billy Strings last night at Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City, NJ. The venue is not my favorite, the sound isn&#39;t that great, although Andy did a great job considering the poor acoustic characteristics of the room. These musicians are just an unending source of inspiration. </p><p>Here is some video I shot at the show:</p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/sKKkVMHJm50" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/sKKkVMHJm50</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://heads.social/tags/BMFS" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BMFS</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/BillyStrings" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BillyStrings</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/LiveMusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LiveMusic</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/Americana" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Americana</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/Bluegrass" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Bluegrass</span></a> <a href="https://heads.social/tags/IWasThere" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>IWasThere</span></a></p>
