nycki<p>woah today I learned that if you connect to Matrix with FluffyChat or Cinny then you get custom user stickers and emoji, its like Discord or Telegram but easier!</p><p><a href="https://bark.lgbt/tags/matrix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>matrix</span></a> <a href="https://bark.lgbt/tags/cinny" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cinny</span></a> <a href="https://bark.lgbt/tags/fluffychat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fluffychat</span></a></p>
xenogon<p>is anyone using <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/matrix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>matrix</span></a> on MacOS with a desktop client? I have tried <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/fluffychat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fluffychat</span></a> (crashes on boot) <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/cinny" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cinny</span></a> (displays a blank window) and <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/element" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>element</span></a> (runs, but so far hasn't let me sign up successfully)</p><p>also tried the element webapp in my browser but I'm having the same trouble signing up.</p><p>very unimpressed so far</p>
Suguru Hirahara<p>I'm trying <a href="https://mstdn.progressiv.dev/tags/cinny" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cinny</span></a> to replace <a href="https://mstdn.progressiv.dev/tags/element" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>element</span></a> as a daily <a href="https://mstdn.progressiv.dev/tags/matrix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>matrix</span></a> client because not only it is one of the featured clients with beautiful and consistent UI, but also I've been really fed up with governance of vector-im, to which I had essentially provided just free labor. </p><p>If you like a simple UI centered on text based communication without a bunch of features like widget and thread, cinny should be a better choice, though the client seems to lack basic features like permalink.</p><p><a href="https://cinny.in" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">cinny.in</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
