OK this is going to be controversial. 
Never mind all the guitar 'greats' (Beck, Page, Clapton et al) but I think that this is the best live guitar solo ever.
I believe it is Randy Jacobs who was on guitar duties with Was Not Was in the 1980s at this live show.
It isn't so much the actual guitar playing or the solo , but the fact that he keeps playing in flight and lands on his feet to continue the solo!

A pretty great moment in my life, in 2018, I saw the Meat Puppets for the third time and dragged my wife (she HATED them 
). But we were right next to the stage, and she is SO DAMN COOL that she got this AWESOME footage of them playing one of my favorites of their songs, 'Severed Goddess Hand' - solo and all. Wow. Curt Kirkwood is a guitar GOD.
