She also feels the thesis around streaming “saving” the record business is erroneous. “It’s maybe not the popular perspective in the business press, but I don’t necessarily see drawing venture capitalists into music as a good thing for music,” she says. “The problems created by venture capital aren’t going to be solved by more venture capital.”
